In June 2010, the City of Manchester had a dedication of the Veterans Memorial located in Margaret Stoecker Park on Henry Avenue. This memorial offers all in or around our city an opportunity to honor all who have bravely served or are currently serving in various branches of the military.  2020 marks the 10 year anniversary of this monument to the veterans. 

Early in 2008, the Commission selected Charles "Chuck" Jahneke of Gonzalez Engineers to design the Veterans' Memorial, and halfway thru 2010 the Memorial was dedicated. 

While the Memorial is honoring all major branches of military services and commemorating the various conflicts our nation has been engaged in, individual tributes from friends and family are available with the purchase of paver bricks, in addition to other complementary features being laid in an area around the Memorial.
