Bulk trash pickup will take place on your normal collection day any week of the year.  You must contact Republic Services, see website at https://www.republicservices.com/residents/bulk-waste. Please note: 

There is a two item limit per week. 

Bulk trash includes any type of solid waste that cannot be placed into a 32 gallon trash can. No single bulk trash item can weigh or exceed more than 100 pounds or 16 cubic feet in volume. 

Bulk trash does not include major appliances, automobile parts or components, or any such item. 

Examples of common bulk trash items which can be picked up are: Sofa/couch, cabinet, table, sink, mattress, lamp, desk, chair, vanity, bathtub, toilet (please separate bowl and tank), carpet (must be cut in four foot widths, rolled up no larger than 18 inches in diameter, limit of 2 bundles).

Appliances - large and small, electronics, and metals may be recycled at the Midwest Recycling Center drop off collection event held the 3rd Saturday of every odd-numbered month, 8am to 11am at the city's Schroeder Park. Those guidelines are available at city hall or on the city's website.
