The Police Dept is accepting applications for the next class of the Manchester Citizen's Police Academy. The Academy is designed to provide citizens with an in-depth look at the City's Law Enforcement operations and its working relationships with other emergency response professionals. 

The Citizen's Police Academy is also being focused as a training opportunity to prepare participants to meet the volunteer service roles for our developing Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program. VIPS, along with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Neighborhood Watch aid our community in meeting potential volunteer needs relating to the safety and security of the City.
