Notes From October 26, 2016 Annual Meeting

Pat Johnson, Secretary, and Debbie Rodgers, President addressed the group, introduced city officials, and held an election for treasurer.

Alderman Mike Clement, Mayor David Willson and Police Chief Tim Walsh all spoke about matters affecting Gascony and the city at large. City revenues are going up, new businesses are opening up and contributing more sales tax. A large, upscale apartment complex may be built between the police facility and Menards. Car break-ins have been happening recently in nearby subdivisions. Do not hesitate to call 911 if an emergency, or the police dispatch at 636-527-9200 for less urgent matters.

Brian Sweeney was elected the new treasurer to replace outgoing Matthew Prickett.

A financial report was given by Susan Bishop, Community Manager from DNI Properties, and appear to be fine - no change in the current assessment of $210 per year.
